I know, I know...its been FOREVER since I've blogged but my life has been a little hectic. First and foremost, I GOT A NEW JOB! Thats right ladies and gentlemen, Jennifer Kinard is no longer driving over 1,000 miles a week...woo-hoo. I'm working for the Wilmington Sharks. They are a collegiate baseball team here in town and I'm working as an account executive. I basically solicite
(by the way, I hate that word) businesses to advertise for the baseball season. Whether its advertising on a wall sign, being a game sponsor, passing out giveaways and so forth. You get the picture. I'm the only girl working in the office for now and thats been nice. I'm just happy that I'm not by myself all day long, which is nice. I think I'm going to enjoy working with this team and I hope great things will arise.
Secondly, Brian and I have been house hunting for the past month. I believe that we are going to make an offer on a house that we looked at today. It's A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E! I'll keep you posted on that. Hopefully, everything will work out.

On a different note, I would like to thank Carole, Brian's sister, "thank you" for the delicious King Cake. This is her second year sending us one for Mardi Gras. Let me tell you, this cake is so yummy! 
Its super sweet and so full of fat and calories, but hey, you only eat it once a year. I will carry it to work tomorrow to share with my fellow employees. Brian doesn't eat the thing and it would be bad news if I ate the whole thing by myself. Believe me, I can do it. I did last year!
